you-film.net is a project of ECFA and Jungefilmszene im BJF.

you-film.net will furthermore show some festivals for professionals which are open to young film makers as well. There are also some festivals included from outside Europe. With providing information about film festivals we want to stimulate the intercultural exchange of films and young film makers, also with regard to a Europe growing together.

PRIX EUROPA: Vote for Film Spots

The German Foreign Office and Europe's biggest tri-medial festival PRIX EUROPA have called on young talents to make one-minute-films. The theme was "I am Europe". Thirty films made it into the final round.

The winner will be announced at the PRIX EUROPA Awards Gala on 20 October and published on the PRIX EUROPA homepage.

All the team is back to Kyrnéa's office under a cloudy sky... but we are very happy because we all really enjoyed the Yeff! encounter. We've met nice people in a good atmosphere.We just found that all participants were so fantastics!! So thank you all!!!!!We hope we will meet in Goteborg for Yeff! 09 and even sooner in France or elsewhere....
You will be able to see soon on the website the others film workshops films you have made in Paris.

Until 1 August young European talents can still enter short films for this year's Prix Europa SPOT "I am Europe" competition.

Europe is made of individuals. You, too, are Europe. Who are you and what is European about you? Considering these aspects, the spots should transcend national, cultural and language borders and express desires and hopes for the future. European unification should be shown as an opportunity for change, as a source of hope, confidence and dynamics.
